Teach Palestine

“Our mission is to support educators in bringing Palestine into their classrooms so K-12 students learn about a people often excluded from the curriculum and have historical context in which to situate current events.

Our vision is to curate teacher curriculum and educational resources, provide professional learning, and consult with educators and educational leaders on the ways Palestine can be brought into safe and inclusive classrooms.

Teach Palestine is a project of the Middle East Children’s Alliance, based in Berkeley, California. MECA is a nonprofit organization working for the rights of children in the Middle East by sending humanitarian aid, supporting projects for children, and educating North American and international communities about the effects of US foreign policy on children in the region.”

Support Palestinian Liberation

The Sameer Project

“The Sameer Project is a rapid-response initiative that is facilitating the sourcing and distribution of aid to displaced families all over the Gaza Strip. Started by 3 Palestinians living in diaspora and supported by ground teams in Gaza. We provide support in the form of shelter, medication and treatment, food, water, diapers, formula, and more. Our ethos is to promote resilience, maintain dignity, and providing agency for the families we serve. We are proactive and adaptable based on priority needs at any given time, implementing urgent and emergency response as needed. “

Send Funds

I am part of the Poppy Seeds Collective, a coalition of friends and community partners raising funds to support several families in Gaza, who we personally speak to and communicate with on a regular basis.

Our friend Maram is suffering from kidney stone surgery complications due to the lack of clean water in Gaza. She continues her work as a teacher while she is sick in order to survive and to pay back her extensive medical loans.

In order to receive further life-saving treatment, she urgently needs to pay off her loan of $3,600. Can you help us reach our goal?
