Resuscitate

Poetry

Self published chapbook
“An ode to the power of claiming survivorhood in a world where our bodies are weaponized against us. Resuscitate speaks to the journey of facing the ghosts of trauma, mental illness and patriarchy: how intersectional feminism brought this survivor back to the land of the living.”

I am a contributor to Stories of Personal Transformation: Reclaiming Judaism From Zionism , a collection of personal essays by forty Jewish writers about their journey from a Zionist worldview to reclaiming their Judaism as as part of a historical commitment to justice, solidarity, interfaiths alliance and global liberation.

“As I grew older, my Judaism became about activism and self-growth as much as survival. I always believed in building something better than what we started with; for years I stood outside the House of Judaism with tools to repair the gap between the Occupation and Jewish values. I was ready to work to fix what we were breaking.

Jewish tradition instructs us to question and challenge the status quo. We teach our children this unless it’s about Israel.”
