What do I mean by accessibility?
1) Offline Accessibility
2) Digital Accessibility

Why be accessible?

Beyond the risk of hefty fines or ADA violations, there are many important reasons to ensure your business and services are fully accessible.

Disabled people have the right to access the same public services as anyone else. More than that, accessibility is about making sure everyone has what they need — whether disabled, chronically ill, or non-disabled. Nearly 15% of the world lives with a disability, and in the U.S., nearly 25% of adults do. When your work is accessible, you reach a much larger audience — online and offline.

Accessibility

Accesibility

I help businesses and organizations identify and remove barriers — digitally, physically, and organizationally. Many barriers go unnoticed by those who are not directly impacted

Example 1:

You might not think about how heavy your door is or whether it can be opened with an accessibility button. During a flare, the lack of an automatic button can mean I cannot enter without risking joint pain and inflammation

Example 2:

A few steps at a restaurant entrance may seem minor, but for many wheelchair users, they make entry impossible.

I assess your spaces and systems for accessibility barriers and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

If a disabled customer cannot enter your space — because there are stairs, no ramp, no clean air or ventilation, or no masking policies — your business is not inclusive of the full community.

Many businesses also do not realize there are legal guidelines for website accessibility, or they lack the knowledge and support to implement them properly.

Not everyone realizes the ADA includes guidelines for website accessibility. Websites should not prevent disabled people from accessing services or products.

I help ensure your website meets accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.
